Tsikbal ich maya (Speaking Maya) began as a collaborative project between myself and Mariano Bonilla Caamal in 2004. Since that time we have recorded around 20 hours of video, and expended the project to include important contributions from Genner Llanes-Ortiz, Felipe de Jesús Castillo Tzec, Melissa Frasier, and Joel Jonientz, among many others.
