ENGL 363: Globalization and Global Literature

This section of Globalization and Global Literature will examine texts how literature written around the world deals the phenomenon of globalization. We will focus on literature as a site for understanding changing relationships between people and the environment, between people from different countries, and between people within the same country, as global forces have increasingly shaped people’s lives. How are places like Jackson County connected to La Guajira in South America? How do food choices in local supermarkets impact mass migrations of people in Guatemala and Honduras?
